Training Tips: Weight to Dosage Ratios
Rebuild II and Nutri-build III Dosage Guidelines
Numerous factors are involved in making dosage decisions. Body mass (volume),
intensity of activity or exercise, frequency of activity or exercise,
dietary intake, and amount of rest all need to be taken into consideration.
However, in general, for athletic performance and recovery from activity,
we suggest a minimum of 8 capsules of Rebuild II taken daily for bodies
up to 160 lbs; from 160 to 180 add 2 capsules; from 180 to 210 add 2 more
capsules; from 210 and up add 2 more capsules. Again, we suggest that
dosages be taken one hour before a workout and within 45 minutes following
a workout, and that the post-workout dose be accompanied by a carbohydrate
drink. So, a 170 lb. athlete would take 5 capsules before his/her workout
and 5 capsules following, for a daily total of 10 capsules. You may want
to use the Nutri-build III powder for your post-workout dose, as it contains
the carbohydrates you need to engage the recovery process. Note that the
serving scoop that comes in the Nutri-build bulk containers is equal to
approximately six (6) capsules. You can gauge by eye roughly an amount
you might want to add or subtract.
In the event that you are undergoing surgery, are in a rehab program or
are dealing with degenerative or chronic joint health, it is recommended
that you take 1500 mg. of glucosamine. That would be the amount contained
in 12 capsules daily of the Rebuild II, or two (2) scoops of the Nutri-build
III. If you are going to cycle off of Rebuild II or Nutri-build III during
an extended rest phase, but have chronic joint health problems, you may
consider augmenting your personal supplements with a glucosamine product
so that you will not interrupt your regimen and risk depleting the serum
levels necessary to maintain joint health and regenerate cartilage.
Pro Power Plus dosage guidelines:
Pro Power Plus can be used with the same weight/dosage guidelines as Rebuild II and Nutri-build III, as a pre and post workout recovery agent. You can use it in addition to these products if you are looking to put on extra lean muscle mass. Or use all three products to break up the routine of taking the same product. Rebuild II as mentioned is a capsule, Nutri-build III is a fruit punch flavored drink mix and Pro Power Plus is a vanilla or chocolate shake drink mix. The high protein and carbohydrates in PPP will also introduce an extra 200 calories to your daily caloric intake, when taken as a between meal snack and/or after workout. Putting PPP in the blender with a bit of ice, some banana or berries, perhaps some wheat germ and you have a great snack or meal.
