Training Tips: Multiple Workouts

Using Pro Power Plus, Rebuild II and Nutri-build III for Multiple Daily Workouts
"How often should a person consume Pro Power Plus, Rebuild II or Nutri-Build III when they are working out more than once during a day?" This is an important and often-asked question. I will give you the guidelines we employ with the San Antonio Spurs during pre-season camp when we go through two-a-day practices/workouts.

The goal is to consume enough Pro Power Plus, Rebuild II or Nutri-Build III to maximize recovery - from workout to workout and from day to day. Because of the additional stress and wear and tear that multiple daily workouts create, it is important to increase the amount of the product taken. As a rule we will consume one dose (based on body weight) an hour before the morning practice and one dose immediately within the first 45 minutes following this workout. In the evening, we apply the same schedule; one serving an hour before practice and another immediately following practice. It is key to note, and it has been scientifically shown, that the body is at its most "hungry" for nourishment within the first 45 to 60 minute window following intense workouts. This post workout recharging is critical for fast recovery. We like Nutri-Build III for post workout supplementation because of the extra carbohydrates in the mix. Extra carbohydrates have been shown to speed recovery when taken in this time frame.

You can apply these same principles to yourself to supplement your own multiple daily workouts. Try experimenting with both the number of doses per day and the amounts. I think that you will like the way you feel and perform.
